What is the eligibility criteria to become a Seller on Resto my Ride?


Sellers are curated by Resto my Ride. The Resto my Ride Marketplace is for Automotive LIfestyle Sellers that align with our Resto my Ride values.

  • Established registered professional business
  • High quality product range suitable to the Automotive Lifestyle Category in Australia
  • Alignment with our Resto My Ride Marketplace values


How much does it cost to be a Seller in the Resto my Ride Marketplace?


Our basic fee structure is simple. It’s FREE to list. You’ll only pay a fee when your product sells.

  • NO MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE'S
  • NO SET UP FEE'S
  • NO MERCHANTS FEES ( excluding Afterpay Services )
  • NO LISTING FEES - Unlimited Product Listings
  • RESTO MY RIDE PROMOTIONAL OPPORTUNITIES ACROSS DIGITAL & SOCIAL


  • Sellers are only charged a small commision when sales are made on the Resto my Ride Marketplace. Commisions vary between Categories. Please speak to a Resto my Ride Account Manager.


Will I be locked into a contract?


    There are no lock-in contracts. If you want to leave us ( not that we think you are going to! ) there are no penalties or fee's. You will need to agree to our Standard Seller Participation Agreement to sell on our platform, but if for some reason you do need to stop selling on the platform, you can at any time without penalty.


What does the onboarding process involve?


Approved sellers will be introduced to an Onboarding Specialist who will guide them through the set up process.

This involves:

  1. Designing your Resto my Ride Store including any promotion ads we may use to promote your business;
  2. Importing and mapping your products & offers in the Resto my Ride Marketplace;
  3. Setting up your shipping requirements; and
  4. Ensuring the mandatory compliance checks and processes are made for your store to go live on our platform.

Once Onboarding is complete, we will train you on how to use your Seller Admin Portal to fulfil the sales made on Resto my Ride and how to take advantage of the extra promotional opportunities that are available to our sellers. Then you are ready to go live!


What kind of products can be Sold on Resto my Ride?


    The Resto my Ride Marketplace is a curated marketplace for products and services that fall under the Automotive Lifestyle Category. The category is broad and includes products and services that are Direct to Consumer and Automotive Aftermarket.

    As a curated marketplace, we do have some restrictions on what can be sold on the site. We are very particular about the quality of the products that are being promoted to our buyers and reserve the right to decline particular brands and products from listing. Mostly we need to make sure that products are safe and align with the automotive lifestyle category.


How do I price my products and charge for shipping?


    As a third-party seller, you have autonomy in setting your own product prices and shipping charges.


What are the shipping requirements?
  • Sellers need to accept and ship all orders within 48 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays).
  • Parcels must be sent with tracking information and should reach customers within 3 to 5 business days. For international sellers, we allow extended delivery dependant on destination and shipping method.

  • How do Sellers get paid?
    • The Resto my Ride Marketplace takes full payment for all orders placed in the Marketplace. ( Product Total + Shipping Total ) 


    • Resto My Ride then makes payments to Sellers automatically upon confirmation that the order has been dispatched.


    • Resto My Ride remits the full cost of shipping to sellers. Sellers are remitted the full cost of shipping + the Total sale amount less our referral fee's. We do not apply referral fees to Shipping costs. We do not on-charge Merchant fees to Sellers


    • Resto My Ride processes payments to Sellers every business day.


    How will Resto my Ride support me?


    The Resto My Ride team supports our partners from onboarding to tracking your success on the platform and everything in between. You will have a point of contact every step of the way.

    Our tailored dashboards in the Seller Portal will give you detailed insights on your statistics to monitor and grow your sales.
